Just opened a bottle inherited from my grandmother and dated 2005. Still bubbly. That was a pleasant surprise. Many other varieties were not.
Although I am positive it is not at its best, we are still enjoying its heritage.
We have learned not to wait for “That special day” to enjoy your family’s products. We will enjoy any and every day we can have “vin mousseux blanc”.
