I have been in the hospitality and wine industry for over 25 years, and have worked in variety of positions including doorman, waiter, bartender, wine sales clerk and Sommelier. My passion for wine began at an early age and I achieved my Sommelier Certification in 2008, through the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS) at Niagara College in Ontario. I received training as a sommelier at the fine dining restaurant, The 360 in Toronto’s CN Tower. As a sommelier I have also been trained and educated in the areas of spirits, beer, liqueur, sake, tea and coffee as well as restaurant management. In 2008, I started my own company, Twilight Wines, where I use my education and skills as a consultant, wine reviewer, conduct wine and stem-ware seminars, and cater wine dinners and judging events.
Hi Ed,
When I was looking for a new New Year’s Eve champagne, I stumbled on your advice column. I seem to remember a young Ed Rasiulis that went to Lietuva with me a Vejas back in 1989. Be that You?
